Rain Rain Go Away...

It's been raining, seemingly non-stop, for the past three days. Thunder storms at night, which isn't terrible, I like sleeping with rain.

The days are pretty gloomy, we've still been getting out though. Today we went to wal-mart and returned the air mattress we bought and we also got the oil changed in the truck.

Rick has been enjoying his days off and catching up to me on the Wii. He's now a pro bowler. ;)

Benjamin has been really good lately. That's always nice for me. We had some company over tonight. Another married couple who are currently in the market for a baby. So it was nice to have another family oriented, young couple to hang with. Benjamin was really into Monica (the wife). He was staring at her with this cute serious face and babbling up a storm. Whatever he had to say to her was important. It was cute.

It's late..almost 2am..I can't believe I am even still awake. Our company just left. It was great to have other grown ups to talk to. We played some Wii and ate some ice cream and talked. A nice night overall. They don't have any kids yet, but they do have a golden retriever. It made me a little sad..Her and Gunner could have been great friends. I miss Gunner....

"Let's see if Harriet can bring Mildred home..." -Rick on Wii Baseball...lol

We are enjoying it here. It's good to be together. I have to say though, I miss doing homework with Liz. We sat in the bathroom doing homework each night during Ben's bath. It was a good time..."William Penn..Pennsylvania."

Benjamin's Teeth!

Another day, Another dollar

Well..now that Rick has graduated, his parents have departed, and Benjamin and I are feeling a little better we decided to venture out into the city and do a little shopping. Old Navy was having a baby/kids sale so I got Ben some summer clothes. I was hoping for a new pair of jeans, but it didn't happen. I got him some shorts and some t-shirts. Rick got a t-shirt too. It was fun.

We also went to Sears. Rick thinks Sears is always a fun place to be. He's been wanting a drill pretty much since I met him and they just happened to have some on sale. Clearance actually, marked 69 dollars. When we rang it up it was 39! Who can complain with a deal like that.

Anyway...The weather hasn't been as warm as when I first got here, but it's still sunny everyday which I love. I think I have a case of seasonal depressive disorder..or whatever it's called. The sun just lifts my spirits. I think I definitely belong somewhere warm.

I have to smile right now..Rick is on leave, as I mentioned before, and right now I am sitting in the other room and he is singing and dancing with Ben. So cute.

Today we are planning to go to the commissary and get a few things. I would like to have chicken for dinner tonight. While I am on the subject, why does dinner have to be so difficult? I really should devise a weekly meal plan. My main problem with it is that I am not really a scheduled person. Nine times out of ten if I plan a meal ahead, I no longer feel like eating (or making) it when the time comes. Ugh...I annoy myself. LoL.

Did I tell you all that Ben got his two bottom teeth? They came in at the same time on the 8th. It seems like he makes new faces just to show these teeth..they are extra pitiful. He's a master mommy manipulator...

I suppose that's all..I hear my baby calling me.."Mamamama".. :)
