Katie's Senior Preview

I know she's not a senior yet, but most likely I will be shooting her senior pictures next summer. It's always good for me to get more experience, so yesterday we did a photo shoot. Here are just a few, I edited them on Flickr...but I can't wait to get home to my own computer!
I was also all set to photograph Katie's boyfriend, but I realized that when I'm in the director's chair I get a little nervous and I just tend to blabber....My ultimate goal would be to make people feel comfortable and just have fun. I have so many good ideas. lol.

It's obvious to me that I could use A LOT more practice/experience. Any takers? ;)

I just decided to mess around on Flickr and add her name to a few of them..they of course are no where near edited to my standards and I've been picking flaws like crazy...but oh well, the first one was my favorite of the day. Notice where her name is there is also a light coming through the tree so it makes the name look flawed.
Katherine didn't really enjoy any of the pictures..she thought her smile looked bad. I thought she was pretty, but could have relaxed a little more. We were pressed for time though.
Do you like her "Katherine" tatoo? lol...and also there is a lot of dirt and stuff on that pillar...I really need photo shop...
Would you believe this is the side of a barn that holds lawn tools? This was also one of my favorites.

I will have more later...plus lots of photos from Mike and Beth's wedding and some other random pictures of Ben's adventures here in Ohio. So far he's driven a forklift and a convertible..what's next?

Ok, I know the title says no pictures...but this one was saved on this computer here...and I took it shortly after bringing Ben home from the hospital...It's still one of my favorites...he was SO tiny!

I didn't bring my computer on this trip to Ohio. Boo. So I don't have my card reader and this computer is lacking in the technology area...

Anyway, I am in Ohio. After an 8+ hour day of traveling (Thursday the 24th) Benjamin and I were beat! On Friday we headed to IL for my cousin's (the one who introduced me to my awesome husband) wedding. It was great fun and the 2 of them look so happy. His new wife is great. I really like her. The photographer didn't seem to like me too much, so I tried to stay out of her way, but I did manage to snap a few cute photos of them. I'll post them when I get the chance.

Our friends came to the wedding too and I finally got to meet their cute baby, Chloe. I couldn't believe how tiny she was next to Ben. When the new baby comes, Benjamin will be giant. :-/ He's growing too fast!

We came back to Ohio today and after a long drive we just hung out and visited with my Aunt Angie and her husband Randy. He even took me and Katie on a ride in their convertible. :) Thanks!

I am not sure what the rest of the week entails...but I hope it's a lot of pool side fun and relaxing. Because this preggo momma has had enough traveling to last a lifetime!

I am so bummed Richard isn't here. Everything is SO green and pretty and it really makes me like Arizona less and less. I also miss seeing bodies of water. Ahhh well, soon enough..Washington is right around the corner!!!!

Anyway..that's all for now, I'm having a good time here, but I am seriously missing my husband. It's always a little lonely when he can't come too. :(
