33 weeks

Doctor Details:

• I am 33 weeks, measured 36.


• Baby's heart beat sounded good, strong.


• Baby moves non-stop..I can only hope that means baby comes out calm like Ben (He moved non-stop and then was a calm, happy baby, Evelyn barely moved..some days I had to really think about whether she moved at all...)

My break from the kids was really nice. I enjoyed not having to load and unload carseats 9302940 times. It was nice not having to work to entertain them in the confined spaces of the Dr.'s office and the car dealership.

I think I should allow myself breaks a little more often. =)

Floors!

Well, the new flooring is all in..all that's left is the trim work and the final clean up. Everything is organized (i.e. toys, closets, cupboards...), I feel like I'm in full nesting mode. The end is in sight and I can't wait.

The rug is one we had in Germany, I like it, but feel that it has more of a juvenile feel to it. I found one at Home Depot tonight that I like better, just something neutral with texture so I can easily change decor when I want to...

Anyway..The living room is the only clean room, I cleaned it so I could take a picture for Rick..the rest of the house has stuff piled everywhere and is covered in dust. So even though I've stayed up cleaning/organizing til 2AM three times since returning home..I'm guessing it's not the last time...But, all the closets and cupboards are clean and everything now has a designated place...again with the nesting I guess...

The children and I were confined to the Loft while they put the floors in from 8:30AM to almost 5pm. Long, tiring day..and I am fully appreciative of ALL the space in our house we have to run around in.

Anyway...I'm going to the Doctor tomorrow and then to the Honda dealership to look at a mini van...yep, we're going there....I get to do it all kid free thanks to a friend. After a pretty trying week, the break is very welcome here!

Snotty Little Bed Heads...

My precious babe's just after nap time today (we ALL three napped!).

They both have colds...

They both hate pants...

They both love fruit snacks...

Isn't Ben's haircut pretty cute? I love how he looks like a little man...

Today He...

Stuck his clean hand in a bowl of spaghetti and told me, "I dirty mommy, I needa bath..."

Helped his sister get water on her tooth brush and then gave her a drink before bed time..

Called his Noni, excited to thank her for the stuff she mailed..."Dump truck at Ben's house now Noni! WOTS of cars!"

Told me he was "tired and ready to weep (sleep) now"

And then..my little Evey with the split between her teeth...

Today She...

Pooped on the potty, we are getting so good at this...

Played peek-a-boo with me from behind the door and said BOO each time...

Carried her bitty baby around by the foot...

Enjoyed a chocolate donut with the same enthusiam as Daddy... =)

Tomorrow...new floors...let's hope it goes quickly and smoothly and that it looks AWESOME.

We've passed the 200th day of deployment! That's pretty great. By the time the baby gets here there will only be about 100 days to go..and then Rick will be here for R&R and I'm telling myself I CAN do this. Even though I've been struggling a little lately...I'm pretty sure I can..well, actually, I don't really have a choice, so I'll do it.

Today Ben got a haircut...we went to the kids salon where they have the rocket ships, a saddle, etc, to sit on..which one did Ben choose? The pink barbie jeep. At least he know what he wants... :)

Evelyn is really starting to pick up words now. She says Amen, bye bye, Apple, num num, potty, bath, and just today I was trying to get her to say Ben and she said "BE!" Of course it's still that baby talk that mostly only I can understand, but it's nice that she is trying to communicate.

It's going to be a nice week I think...rest of the kitchen floor out on Wednesday, new floor on Thursday, Doctor on Friday. I like it when I have stuff to do...makes the time go faster.
