I actually do have pictures to post, but since it was a long, cranky night again..it will have to wait. I took the kids to the doctor today. All three of them have laryngitis and Ben and Addy have ear infections.. Addyson also has a rash/blister in her mouth the Dr. thinks from have 2 days of such a high fever. It seems painful, but she is still eating and drinking normally. All three are miserable and whining and constantly fighting bedtime for back rubs and stories and more excuses to lay in my lap. Which is mostly okay because they are sick, but when sick combines with over tired and whining it is not a pretty picture! Especially when Mommy and Daddy are sick too. :-/

In other news...random bits from the kids...

While driving today, every corner I turned Ben said some variation of "you did it mommy! You didn't hit the curb"

While driving with Rick this evening he told him, "You don't hit curbs do you daddy, mommy can't drive like you."

I feel like someone has brainwashed him...Hmm..

Evelyn has been brushing up on her stalling techniques with catchy phrases like, "I can't pull my pants up, they are too heavy." "I can't finish this milk it is too wetty" and other sweet ones like, "Ben, me am proud of you!"

Ashley Pulls an All Nighter....

So...the husband took off for Ski to Sea yesterday around 13:30..I figured it would be a difficult evening, mostly because all three kids are sick...and so am I.

Whatever we have, Ben got it first, it involved dry/hoarse coughing, fever, need to sleep a lot..Well..Ben is still sick, and then Evelyn got it, and Addyson, and me.

Last night Evey did nothing but lay in bed and whine and moan and cry..I gave her some tylenol, but I still don't really know what was wrong with her. She was basically up ALL night just whining. She had a mild fever and kept saying she was hotty and coldy..extreme measures to exercise patience had to be taken.

Addy was up on and off, I think mostly because Evey kept howling and waking her up..but she also had a fever of 102.5 that was hard to break. I finally got her out of bed, gave her some tylenol and a cold wash cloth and some ice water..she threw up once, but I think it was because of the coughing..

They both crashed at 5 this morning and it's a good thing, because this tired Mommy wasn't going to make it much longer....

I'm still tired, so I'm hoping to catch a nap when the rest of them nap this afternoon..it was a rough night, but it's over..and the husband will be home tonight...funny how I made it a year without him, but now it seems really hard to go just one night..
