32 Weeks (tomorrow)
I figure a few hours won't make much difference in the size of my belly...so here it is at 32 weeks...Please note how I've strategically placed my hand to cover my "love handle", lol..

Trick Or Treat!
Happy Halloween :)
Today Benjamin and I lounged around. Rick got home early and we waited for the guy who bought our trailer to show up. He ended up being almost two hours late, apparently due to traffic...But while we were waiting, Benjamin and I decided to go trick or treating on our street with the neighbor.
After we were done on our street and the trailer guy came and went we went to a local church's trunk or treat event.
Anyway, we're home now and we're watching a movie! So I'll leave you with a video!Wednesday, October 29, 2008

Dr. Today
I went to the dr. this morning. I'm 31 weeks pregnant...and if you scroll down to the bottom of my page, I'm one baby away from the last one on my ticker! Time flies.
Anyway...I have a flu/stomach virus. Yum. Since I've actually been feeling crappy for a week or so, I guess the high point of this illness was yesterday. Even after sleeping all morning and part of the afternoon, I still went to bed at 10pm and didn't wake up a single time until morning. A miracle for me because I usually have to go to the bathroom like 4 times a night.
My dr. told me to get some Gatorade and bed rest for a couple of days. The baby has a healthy heart beat, but is apparently large. Like I said, I'm 31 weeks (really 30 weeks if you go to the 40 week due date of Jan. 5) and my belly measured 34 weeks today. Even the doctor seemed a tad shocked. So who knows. I'm going to find my mutter pass (mother pass from my pregnancy with Ben) and see how big I was with him at this time. Oh and I weigh 158. That brings me to a weight gain of 15 pounds. Of course..I may have dropped a few pounds over the past couple days..
I'm feeling a lot better today. My head hurts still and my stomach feels unsettled, but no throwing up or anything pepto related so far.
Richard gave me some chores to do before he gets home from work, so..I guess I'll do that...maybe. ;)

Noni's Flannel Shirt

Well...I've gotta say it's been an extremely long day...and I am tired of feeling miserable. I woke up at 8am and after throwing up (overshare?), I went back to bed. I woke up again at 11:55am and then napped with Benjamin until 2pm. I think it would have been easy for me to sleep the entire day, but I wanted to still be tired enough to sleep through tonight.
I've got a Dr.'s appt. tomorrow, so I'm going to find out if this is some kind of flu or if it's pregnancy related. It's been the most horrible today after a downward spiral that began with hot flashes and dizzy spells at church yesterday. We actually ended up leaving early because I was just so uncomfortable. I didn't feel normal on Saturday either, but nothing like what I've experienced today....
Anyway...enough about me. At around 4pm we went outside for some fresh air. Benjamin played, while Richard stained the fence. It's a cedar fence, so I picked a lovely cedar red color from Preservawood. It looks so nice.
Even in my illness, I managed to dress Ben in his flannel from Noni, she's been dying to see it, and his new boots, AND take some pictures. I have to say, he looked pretty adorable. He's getting so tall, if any of you ever make it here to visit, you'll be shocked at how tall he's gotten. I measured him the other day, he's 36" tall! He came into the world at 19.5." Sometimes it's just so hard to believe that he used to be that small.

Sick to my Stomach...

Anything Pepto claims to cure...that's what I've got. I was up most of the night at my favorite new place to hang, the bathroom.
This pregnancy has been an absolute breeze compared to Benjamin. I didn't really have morning sickness at all in the first trimester, I just felt tired. I took a daily nap (still do) and that seemed to cure any ill I may be feeling. There was a short time in the middle somewhere where I kept getting nauseous just before bed, but it only lasted a few weeks. With Ben, I was sick all day, every day until about week 18. The couch was my home. I was good for the time in the middle and then around week 32 I was sick again.
I was thankful this time, not to have to go through that, especially with Ben running around.
BUT...since last week, I've been dealing with full force, first trimester, morning/all day sickness. I am hoping this is not the trend of the next eight weeks, because frankly, I'm kind of miserable. My stomach is flipping and flopping and the baby is flipping and flopping too. She NEVER stops moving. That's fine...every movement is a reassurance that everything is good in there...but all that constant flopping does not help the nausea...
You know Aunt Ang, I'm getting a taste of your medicine over here...or At least what your meds do to you!
Anyway...the bathroom is beckoning me to return.... :-/
