Baby Business

First, my cousin had her baby today! Congrats! :)

Now...back to me! LoL!

I had my 37 week appointment today. I am measuring 38 weeks, so the gap is slowly closing.

I gained two pounds over the last two weeks, bringing the total to 17.

Everything else looked good and my doctor is predicting a "smooth, quick, and easy delivery."

Boring bits and pieces....

• The sunshine week has come to an end. After many days of sun and temps in the mid 50's we're back to rain and temps in the 30's. Bummer.
• Because of cold and rain, we stayed in the house ALL day..kinda felt trapped. (but at least we're not really trapped by truck loads of snow...)
• We played trains, play doh, cars, read books...and still the day was sooo slow.
• The "guys" as Ben calls them, came and finished the kitchen trim. It looks pretty good, but overall I find myself wishing nothing ever happened in the first place. The trim was WAY better pre-flood.
• Dragging this job on for 2 months kind of robbed me of my "nesting" energy. I was doing so well, i.e. closets cleaned, stuff organized, and had plenty of energy to keep cleaning up after all the messes (left behind by the contractors and the kids too). Now, I'm just exhausted all the time, and I have absolutely no desire to keep dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and putting toys away.
• Today was long and boring..and I'm a little bit shocked that by the time I see Rick again it will have been 9 months since we've seen each other. That's a little bit ridiculous. I just keep thinking about it. I think it's going to be pretty great, but I don't know how I'm going to let him go back! My only consolation there is that we'll be under the 100 day mark until he's home for good!

Lonely Sunday...

We pouted all day because we miss daddy...and four weeks is taking FOR.EV.ERRR!
