What You're Missing....

Yep..this is what you miss out on if you don't have video and text messages ....Of course..since I've figured out how to post them on my blog, I guess you won't be missing out on it anymore...Maybe. ;)

Here we see our typical dinner time psycho.

This is that monkey noise video I was telling you about. So cute.

Ben says, "All Done!"

Ben doing a little jig to his wiggle ball.

Ben shows us his mad face.

Watches mommy a little more than she thought..I always close the drawer with my foot.

I caught him ripping toilet paper to put in the potty...I seriously had to hold back the laughter.

This is Ben saying, "what's that"

And finally...for now...one of my all time favorites. This kid seriously cracks me up.

Corn Maze

Today was a lovely day. We woke up at 7am to go to the hospital. One 3 hour glucose screen turned into 5 hours. Four needle pokes later, I was on my way to some food. They told me, "no news is good news," and so far I've heard nothing. So I'll say that's good and I do not have gestational diabetes.
After the hospital we went to McDonald's. I know...so healthy. But I needed something fast. I was famished and weak. You understand....
We ran a few errands after lunch and then went to find a barn sale that I saw on craigslist. We located the barn and ended up finding an adorable kids desk with one chair. Rick asked if they had another chair and she did, so we got the desk and two solid oak kiddy chairs for $20. I think it was a steal. It's still in the car, but I'll get a picture of it when we clean it up and bring it in. We got a few other small things too. Definitely worth it.
After the barn sale we went to the corn maze. Which turned out to be pretty fun. Ben seemed to enjoy it too. I didn't bring my good camera today due to both batteries being dead..but we had the point and shoot in the glove box. It's fun bc it takes videos too. Don't you love that we are all three wearing puffy vests? Yeah..we're nerds, but we love it.

This is a video of Ben laughing his head off. He was cracking up at me jumping at him. It's been awhile since I posted a video...so enjoy! :-D

Anyway...after the corn maze we had to go back to my dr. to pick up the Rx for the iron pills. Which we promptly filled and then headed off to the Goodwill. We left with a little tykes bubble blowing lawn mower for 2 dollars!

It's Bargain Friday!

The Kid and His Coloring.

I found him a little lap desk among the things Richard gathered from the trash in Germany.
As you can see, coloring is very serious.
You can see a little glimpse of his master piece.
Random shot of the living room....still needs some warm, homey touches. But..personally I think it needs new furniture, and an LCD t.v. above the fireplace? Yeeeah...well I can dream can't I?

Another fun story....this morning I gave Benjamin waffles for breakfast. I also gave him a juice box. I do syrup in a little dish that he can dip his waffles in. I went to the bathroom and when I returned, Ben was using the straw to suck the syrup out of the dish. Sick. But I guess he enjoyed it. He cracks me up.

Pumpkin Pickin'

Today we went to a local pumpkin farm that's right down the road from us. It might actually turn out to be a place we visit all year round. They have strawberries, corn, and other produce and flowers during the spring and summer, pumpkins, gourds, apples, flowers and other fun stuff in the fall, and in the winter it's a u-cut Christmas tree farm. I love it.
Let's go for a ride.

He tried to pick this one up. He's so cute.

Rick found his big daddy pumpkin

Ben and Mommy, Ben wasn't feelin it, I was.
Little scarecrow Running! Click this one to see how cute Ben's face is...don't look at mine.
Precious. Found one that he likes!

He fell down...and wasn't happy about it. I got flowers..and they are sooo pretty. Yummy honey crisp!

I'm still feeling stressed...I don't really even know why. But the pumpkin patch was fun and it was great to get out of the house. Thanks for the prayers :)

Stressed.

...The book is still missing...
I got a call from the Dr. yesterday, glucose high, iron low. More tests and an Rx this week.
I have been confined to the house for more than a week it seems. I can't stand not having even the OPTION to leave if I want to.
I've been extra tired due to Benjamin's wacky sleeping schedule...Short, short naps, early to bed, early to rise....
It's just one of those days, but I feel like everything is piling up on me, which is silly because I really don't do that much...
Today for instance, the small task of picking up the house is causing me anxiety and cleaning the high chair for the 49,873,984,923,875 time is making me want hide under the covers and just go back to bed.
I have too much on my mind.

I've found myself crying over the silliest of things...maybe it's just the pregnancy....

Lost!

So...we've got this blue 3 ring binder. It contains pages and pages of valuable information. It's mainly for Army purposes..but it also happened to have other sensitive info in it, as well as the title and registration papers for the trailer.

We spent 2 hours tearing the house apart and another 2 hours driving around to different places on the base where Richard thought it could be.

No Luck.

Please pray that we find this book... :-/

Coloring!

Pretty excited.
Coloring takes concentration.
More fun (or confusing) when Daddy joins in.
Drawing a portrait of Bones perhaps?

Bare Minerals.

My makeup arrived today!

I can finally FEEL beautiful again!

I'm so excited.

:-D

Dr. Today

Well...I've officially hit the third trimester! Yay!

I went to the doctor this morning. And I've gained 4 pounds since last visit (3 weeks ago). Bringing my total weight gain to 18 pounds. With Benjamin I gained 19 for the whole pregnancy...guess I'll be passing that.

Oh well.

I had my sugar test. Thankfully I didn't have to drink the nasty orange stuff everyone talks about. I got some tasty flavored fruit punch. It would have been good to just drink if it didn't leave my mouth feeling like I just downed a bottle of high fructose corn syrup...

Have I mentioned how fabulous I think my doctor is? I love him. He's great.

Anyway, heard the baby's heart beat. Nice and strong at 136. He also measured my belly and it's at 31cm. He said that was, "great growth."
He also commented on how small I am for 7 months. You know, due to my "great muscle tone," and the fact that I am "carrying this baby close in and up high."

I'm happy because I didn't get any stretch marks with Benjamin, so I don't expect to get any this time either. I will need to watch my weight gain, and maybe walk a bit more so I don't get a giant baby. Ben was 7.13 and that was plenty big enough.

Since I'm 28 weeks, I'll take a belly picture soon. I'm too tired to care today. Rick and I stayed up until 1am watching a documentary about ectopic pregnancy. I think it was called, "Pregnant for 46 years." Pretty interesting stuff. Then we got up at 7am to get ready and make it to the doctor by 8am. Benjamin fell asleep on the way home, so I lost about 20 minutes of good nap due to that...then as soon as I was in bed myself my phone rang. I finally fell asleep and the phone rang again. As soon as I fell asleep from that Ben woke up...So now I think I am more tired than I was before the attempted nap. *sigh* I'll probably never be able to coordinate a good nap with two kids...but I'm sure going to try!

Anyway...I will take a belly picture soon...and I know I still have to get that video tour up...I'm working on it.
