Chinese :)

Today, Rick and I shared another first together! We got Chinese take-out. Who knew ordering in could be so fun!?

You know, not the best pictures of either of us. Especially not me. Actually, it makes my head look a little strange....oh well. I love chinese take out!

Today we had Benjamin's first birthday party. It was a bit of a long day for him, so he was a little cranky. I was so bummed, because he normally is such a happy baby. He had a little diaper rash, wet shorts (pool and puddles), and he's got 2 new bottom teeth trying to make their way out. So you can't blame him. But....Here is a picture of his cake. Can you figure out what the farmer has in his hand?

Oh and here is the view from our pool area. My mom thought you would enjoy seeing what we see when we are out swimming. It's pretty nice being surrounded by mountains :)


Anyway...it's been a long day. So I'm gonna go spend some quality time with my husband before he leaves me for golf in the morning. ;)

Anniversary :)

Today while Rick was at work, I thorough cleaned the house. Fun times!

When he came home, he decided we should go to Applebees since that's where we went 3 short years ago after our wedding.

I forgot my camera, but we had our cell phones...So...

Happy Anniversary to the Man of my dreams :)

We've been through alot in our three years of marriage. We've moved from Arizona to Germany to Georgia and back to Arizona, and soon we will pack up and move again.

We started a family. :)

Rick's been focused on his career and I am so proud of him!

God has given me everything I asked for and more and even though we're celebrating 3 years today, we still feel like newly weds. My husband is playful and fun and we make each other laugh. He makes me happy. :)

Happy Anniversary Richard, I can't wait to see what God has in store for our next year together! I love you!

Today was kind of a stressful day. Benjamin was cranky and I couldn't figure out what he wanted AT ALL. He did take 2 long naps, one of which I joined him for. It was glorious. Naps are so beautiful.
Other than that, I did 6 loads of laundry, played outside with Ben and picked the house back up like 5 times. Why does picking up have to be so never ending?

Here are some of my favorite shots from our family photo shoot this past weekend. I love what I can do with a tripod and a self timer.

San Diego was really great. We did Sea World, the Zoo, and the beach. We were exhausted by the time we got back to the hotel each night, but it was really fun.
