FINALLY! I've been waiting for this day! This morning he called out to me, and earlier tonight while we were upstairs playing I went in to the bathroom and he called me again. It's so great I can't stand it! :-D
Our weekend thus far has been BUSY! We had Thanksgiving on Thursday of course and it was pretty good. Dinner was tasty and we followed it with good conversation and a game of Mario Party 8 on the Wii. It was nice to get to know our neighbors a little bit better, we still don't know their last name, and would you believe I didn't take a single picture! I can't believe it.
Actually, I haven't taken a picture all weekend! Friday morning Rick got up early to go to some sales, and I got up early to work. Benjamin chose to sleep until 9am and then we all went shopping! JC Penny was crrrrrrrazy! The Gap had sweaters buy one get one free so we each got a new sweater. I also found a hat to match Ben's coat. So I was pretty happy about that. We ended up getting some major deals on other things for the house so even though it was busy busy, we had fun. We were all three exhausted by 9pm and went to bed!
There were some other good sales today we wanted to take advantage of, so we headed out by 10 and it was pretty dead. Kind of nice after the chaos of yesterday. We also got all of our Christmas shopping done. (I think)
We put up our Christmas lights tonight after we got home. I'll take a picture of that later.
Anyway...it's late and we should be in bed. Church day tomorrow!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to our friends and family far away! We miss you and wish we could be sharing in the smorgasbord of delicious treats and good company too. :)
We're spending this Thanksgiving with our neighbors. Benjamin and their daughter play very nicely together, and they are both really great so it should be fun.
We have SO much to be thankful for this year. God has certainly blessed us.
We successfully moved 3 times, we have a warm place to call home, we are about to expand our family (31 days to my due date!), both of our babies are healthy, we are healthy, Richard has a good job, I was able to find a part time job that lets me stay home, we live in a beautiful state where it's hard to forget (even with the rain) just how awesome God is. We found a great church and have made friends pretty easily....the list goes on and on....
Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name. -1 Chronicles 29:13
Happy Thanksgiving to All!

35+1
Last night I was feeling a little sentimental about my pregnant belly. I'm not sure when or if I'll be pregnant again and I don't want to forget what it looks like (or feels like) to grow a little person. Pregnancy for me has been easy, and I am so thankful for that. I do feel huge and uncomfortable at times, but last night the baby was just moving around a lot and I was watching little limbs pass from one side to the other and I just kept thinking how incredible it was that I have this little miracle inside me. God is truly amazing. I hope I never forget what this feels like.Monday, November 24, 2008
Re-Do
On Saturday night we took our Garage sale earnings to TGI Friday's. Gotta have some cheesecake! Then we went to Jo-Ann Fabrics and got some material to recover our kitchen table chairs. It's just a $99 Wal-Mart table, but the chair covers have taken a beating over the last few months and we wanted them to look a little nicer. I also bought some fleece and made Ben a blanket. (While Rick and I were dating I made him a blanket and it's pretty big, but Ben still attempts to drag it around, so now he has his own)
Here is a before. The color of the fabric is pretty blah and it's been through a lot...baby food, spaghetti, drinks, sticky hands, cake frosting, and even duct tape, although I can't remember why now....and the great bread stick incident of '08. .JPG)
Yeah...it gets a little messy around here.....In the photo below Richard is checking out the staples his staple gun came with. He bought a lot of 5 staple guns awhile back on ebay for 9.99 and was pretty excited to finally get to use one.
Here is a completed chair, we've come a long way since bread sticks and butter eh mom? .JPG)
And here is my cute little table...I had to "mini" decorate because the table is so small everything looks a little ridiculous on it...
Oh...and this is what happens when Daddy leaves the fridge door open and mommy isn't around....Benjamin took one bite out of almost every single grape....Don't worry, daddy was there to help finish off the rest.
Anyway.....JPG)
AND I forgot to post yesterday, but it was Richard's Dad's birthday! Happy Birthday Boss Man! We hope you had a great day! :)

Go Bucks! ...and Some pictures of Ben
Taking a little nap.We had a garage sale this morning...here are some factors to consider when having a garage sale...1. it's a big football Saturday..2. it's November and it's cold....so..we only made $51.00 in four hours and the rest is going to the goodwill.
