• She walks everywhere
• She is a very talented mimic-er
• She sits happily on the potty in the morning and before each bath
• She can say a few words, including mommy, daddy, kitty, no, and some others I know I'm forgetting.
• She repeats animal sounds of all kinds, including quack, woof, cheep, oink and she knows when asked the sounds that go with kitty, monkey, and cow.
• She loves patty cake and peek-a-boo
• She now has four teeth
• She is getting pretty good at listening and following commands..i.e. sit down, bring mommy the ball..etc.
• She loves books
• Still loves her pacifier, but really only has it for naps and bed time.
• Down to 2 or 3 bottles a day
• She gives great hugs and kisses

I'm sure most of this won't change too much within a month, but I forget things too easily these days! I still can't believe she's almost one. It just doesn't seem possible. I'm pretty sure 2009 has been the fastest year of my life. Which is kind of great because nearly half of it has been during deployment. =)

Anyway...Happy 11 Months Ev!

Ben makes an appearance...

Mommy: Ben, let mommy take a picture of you, you can see it on my camera!

Ben: NO, Don't take-a pitcher uh me!

Mommy: Oh, come on, just one picture

Ben: (bursts into tears) TAKE A PITCHER OF EVEY NOW!

...and now you know the reason why most of my recent posts have had photos of Evelyn!

It's Raining, It's Pouring....

Today it rained

So we stayed inside

We played with puzzles

We watched the rain through the window

We ate english muffin pizzas

We laughed

The rain stopped

We went to Pet Smart to watch fish

We got ice cream

The rain started again

We went to sleep

Left Behind..

Well..the photo has nothing to do with the post....but that doesn't matter because some of you probably only visit for pictures anyway :-P

I am in South Carolina...my family left me behind after some deliberation and consideration..and I am now soaking up some warm sunshine and spending time with my sister and her husband.

I am happy because the two of us chatted about me staying with her way back in February when we knew this deployment was in our future. However, we just couldn't seem to find a good way to make it work.

We have some adventures in store... so I'm excited..and then by the time I get home, it will be time to get ready for Christmas, and before I know it this deployment will be half way over.

Woohoo!

Oh! and...I got two more features on a photography website I'm a member of. It's a good day. =)
