The final countdown!

Here we are...one of the last days before the baby arrives!

We're doing alright and enjoying our time..playing trains, playing blocks, walking, watching movies, eating yummy snacks...

I'm not even too uncomfortable yet...so we'll see when "new baby" (as ben says) decides to make an appearance!

Still no baby!

Ben and Evey are sure enjoying having other people around to entertain them. =)

Mush Brain

First..the babe dropped! Look at all that room my ribs have now!

Today, I headed to the airport to pick up Rick's mom and sister. I missed every exit and turn I was supposed to make (on the way home too, until I knew where I was going). I was even AT the airport and missed the sign that said "arrivals and departures" and ended up back on the highway!

I was so frazzled and frustrated! I even had the GPS and I just kept messing it up!

I think the baby is sucking my brain power, time to issue an eviction notice!

Another Sunday down without the husband.

Weekends are always the longest part of the week...but I'm sure I've said that before....

Ben wears that hooded blanket all over the house. He calls it "mine banket wif a hat." It's cute how much he likes it. Rick and I picked it out at this cute little baby shop near our doctors office when we lived in Germany.

The train they are standing on was Rick's when he was little. His dad made it. Ben helped her up so they could look out the window. I love when he's sweet to her. :)

They were watching the birds "eatda dass." (Eat the grass.)

Baby Stuff

Well...here we are at 38 weeks.

Ben and Evey both find the self timer amusing, so we set it on the counter and put it on Auto..hence the horrible shadows from the flash. Whatever...

Like my new shirt? My sweet sister sent it to me..because she's awesome. :)

Oh yeah...went to the Dr. today, I lost 2 pounds and a cm.5 off my belly. The Dr. is the one who measures me every week and he is pretty methodical about the measuring process...so I don't know how that happened..but we'll go with it. It just means the baby has stopped being Amazon for the time being. Lol!

Next week I'll have an ultrasound to make sure all is well and assuming I don't deliver before then, induction has been scheduled for March 15. I like that, it sounds like a good day for a birthday..even if it is the Ides of March.

On that day, Rick's mom and sister will be here, and the kids will have had time to adjust to them, I won't need to worry about enjoying my full stay in the hospital, and I have a friend coming to the delivery room with me. Everything is falling into place it seems. My stress level is low, now that the contractors are out of my face and the house is clean and organized.

I had a nice pedicure today, a gift from my girlfriends..(Thank You!)

I'm ready, now all I have to do is relax and wait...but I'm used to the waiting part!
