*The Best of 2007*

January 2007
Rick and I enjoyed a "BabyMoon" shortly after finding out we were pregnant with Ben. We spent 10 wonderful days in Tenerife, Canary Islands. :)

February 2007

Rick's Brother Jim and friend Brad came to visit us. The boys spent a lot of time snowboarding in the Alps...while I grew a baby... :) That is Rick holding on to the orange fence.

March 2007

It's a Boy! March was also the month Rick was accepted into Officer School. Yay!

April 2007

I turned 23 during Spring Break in the States! Half the time in Michigan with Rick's Family and half the time in South Carolina with my family. Fun, Fun, Fun!

May 2007

30 Weeks Pregnant! We spent nice summer days walking Gunner, hanging with our neighbors, and anxiously waiting for Benjamin to arrive.

June 2007

Said goodbye to our neighbors and friends that moved... :( Summer is big time moving for the Army. We also attended the "World Bowl." Germany's Super Bowl equivalent.

July 2007

Benjamin Arrives! 7lbs 13oz of pure perfection. What an amazing gift! Shortly after Ben arrived my mom got the guts to get on an airplane and come visit. We went to the Netherlands and Bavaria..and she got to see Paris, Austria, and Italy as well. July was fantastic!

August 2007

This month was an adjustment month. My mom spent 3 weeks with us in July and it was really nice to have her around to help and visit. Life with a new baby is different, but good, and we also faced stress as we impatiently waited for orders to move us back to the USA.

September 2007

Still waiting on those orders....Rick's unit deployed and he spent many late nights working and preparing for that. Our Pal Rob also deployed to Iraq...a stressful month indeed. Good thing Ben and Gunner were around to keep us smiling. :)

October 2007

Finally! With orders in hand we boarded a plane back to the US! Benjamin was baptized this month with family all around.

November 2007

Rick heads off to Officer School. I spend my 2nd Thanksgiving without him :(

December 2007

My sister Emily got married on the 8th, Ben turned 5 months old, Rick came home from school for Christmas, and we rang in our 5th New Year together, the only holiday we've been together every year since we began dating toward the end of 2003.
