Tonight, I went out with some wives from our unit. One of the wives there lost her husband during our deployment, actually just a month into the deployment. She has 3 children, like me, and had a baby during the deployment that her husband never got to meet.
It was just another dose of reality and a reminder of the hardship that was our deployment. In some cases worst fears became reality.
Isaiah 54:17.
