A Saturday...

Today was quite the day.

Last night Richard and I stayed up until 3am watching discovery channel documentaries. We haven't stayed up late like that in who knows how long. So this morning came a little too quickly, but we managed to pull ourselves out of bed and make it to breakfast.

We then decided to do some garage sale-ing. We ended up with a Hummer, a baby walker, 2 hooded baby towels, a pair of baby jeans, and some pretty cute baby boots. The walker is a whinnie the pooh one, but the toys are cool and it was in excellent shape. It looks like it's never been used. For $8 dollars, you can't beat it! This is Ben's new ride! It was also in excellent condition and the owners said it was only a year old, their kids just outgrew it too fast. (The kids were 8 and 10) Brand new they cost $227. We picked it up for $30 (They wanted $45).

Anyway, after all our garage sale fun, we stumbled upon Lattin's Cider Mill and Farm. Their website, is much more impressive than the actual place. If that tells you anything.

We did get some apples, saw a couple of goats and some baby ducks and chickens...but other than that, we were pretty disappointed.

Benjamin loved the apple...But as you can see he was disappointed overall. After all of that we had lunch at the Panda Express (all three of us for $8). We are SO incredibly sick of eating out. We do lunch in the hotel most of the time, mac n cheese, microwave crap...gag me. But for dinner it's just too much...so we find ourselves searching for new restaurants we've never tried before. Tonight we did a buffet. There was pizza, chicken, desserts, salads...it actually turned out to be quite tasty and the price wasn't terrible either. Benjamin was loving the mashed potatoes and corn, but I think his favorite part was the baby ice cream cone for dessert.

Three people told us how adorable our daughter was today. I don't know what it was...but I guess Ben was looking a little girly today. Ah well.

Oh...AND! In our garge sale travels we came across the Olympia Christian Reformed Church. So we're really excited to check it out. :-D
